The RocketSlug™ Team
We are RocketSlug™ Co-Founders, Tim Webb and Taylor Disel from Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Changing the world is possible. We’ve done it before.
Taylor is an avid fisherman and former fishing guide. In his experience fishing, both professionally and as a hobby, he’s found a need for a tool that helps you retrieve your lure when you get snagged or hung up without bending your hook, breaking your line, or disturbing fish for above water hangups. We’ve spent years designing and preparing this tool, used it ourselves, and now we’re ecstatic to finally be able to offer it to you.
Tim is a product designer and small business owner. He grew up on Keystone Lake in Oklahoma, fishing everyday as a kid. When Taylor first showed Tim the idea, his mind was blown and the partnership was born! Tim has a history of building departments, infrastructure, companies, and products. He’s a builder by nature. Growing up in Creek County taught him hard work and how to solve problems with very little resources so when Taylor came along with this idea, Tim knew exactly what to do.
Taylor is the creative genius behind RocketSlug™, Tim is the product designer and PR front man.
We have used the latest technology in 3D printing, scanning, injection molding, and consumer product design to bring you the coolest fishing lure retriever ever!

We made a product we would use.
Dream it.
It all began with a problem. RocketSlug™ was born from pure necessity and evolved from a styrofoam carving with an arrow through it, into a consumer ready product using ingenuity, collaboration, and CAD and 3D printing! We have worked closely with a local technical school and a university to get the brightest minds on this project so you would get a great product.
Build it.
From wood carvings and styrofoam to rapid prototypes and now injection molded units, our journey hasn’t ended, it has only begun and you get to see this happen along the way! Join the story as we embark into uncharted waters and bring fun to the fishing world!
